We are up to more than 47,000 relatives on our tree!!!!    Surprise! We are up to more than  47,000   relatives on our family tree. I guess anyone who really thinks about it will realize they have more than  47,000   people to which they are related. However, how many of those people have documented evidence, hmmmmm? Well, we do!  Thanks to all of the people family and friends who have helped with stories, pictures, sharing their trees, and resources we are now up to more than  47,000  relatives, documented on the tree with more being added every day. Remember, we are always willing to add, edit and credit so get involved!

He was educated in the public schools of Atlanta and later received his BA degree at Morehouse College, Atlanta and MA and PhD degrees in Psychology at  New York University . He was also a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He taught at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta for five years before serving in the  U.S. Navy  as a Specialist First Class during  World War II . Athens woman celebrating 107th birthday

Rosa Nell Howard was born on February 24, 1911, in Wilkes County, Georgia. This Saturday, she'll turn 107-years-old.  Howard was the first born to Caroline and Ebb Smith, and she was the oldest of 13 children. She later moved to New York to work before   moving   back to Athens, Georgia.

Alberta Towns celebrates her 106th birthday with loved ones Mrs. Alberta Downer Towns was honored on the occasion of her 106th birthday at a celebration at her home Saturday, February 13. Mrs. Towns was born in Wilkes County on February 14, 1910, to Sallie and Albert Downer and is the only surviving sibling of their ten children, five girls and five boys.
