 Graveside services for Rashad Bolton, 29, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at New Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lincolnton, Georgia. He died Monday, January 4, 2021.

Mr. Bolton was born on June 21, 1991, to Gerome and Lilvender Bolton of Lincolnton. He graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School in 2009. After graduation, he served four years in the U.S. Navy in aerography. He was a kind-hearted, fun-loving, and family-oriented young man. He loved his family, and they loved him in return. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading, and loved to travel. Although gone much too soon, Rashad led a memorable life and will not be forgotten by the many lives he touched.

Survivors include his loving parents, Gerome and Lilvender Bolton of Lincolnton; one brother, Tico Hall of Athens, Georgia; his maternal grandmother, Tishia Evans, with whom he had a very special relationship; five uncles, Ricky Evans of Washington, Georgia, Deon Evans of Athens, Roger (Christine) Bolton, Bobby Bolton, and Leroy Bolton, all of Lincolnton; four aunts, Precious Salmon of Tampa, Edna (Jon) Dixon of Brandon, Florida, Sunduk Bolton of Schertz, Texas, and Anita Bolton of Lincolnton; a very special cousin, Monteck Thomas of Washington; and a host of other cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Clara Bolton; uncles Willie and Henry Bolton; and aunt, Delois Ferguson.

Beggs Funeral Home in Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
