Funeral services for Green Henry (Skill) Binns, 90, of Washington were held Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Washington, with Rev. Roy Andrews officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. He died March 18.

Mr. Binns was a native of Wilkes County and the son of the late Ed and Rebecca Binns of Washington. He was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board for 66 years. He was superintendent of the Sunday School for 40 years.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Leona Cullars Binns of Washington; a daughter and son-inlaw, Betty and Jim McClain; three sons, and a daughter-in-law, Henry and Helen Binns, Larry Binns, and Curtis Binns, all of Washington; 10 grandchildren and a host of greatgreat grandchildren.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington was in charge of arrangements.
