 Johnny Mack J.C. Mattox, 65, of Athens, died May 25, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Mary W. Mattox; son, Demond (Vonda) Mattox; mother, Lucille Mattox; sister, Betty Jean Hill; brother, Jim Roger Mattox, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at The Chapel of Gardenview, with interment in Athens Memory Garden. Gardenview Funeral Chapel, Athens, has charge of arrangements.
